Jennifer has been a trial lawyer for 17 years and a Judge Pro-Tem for eight. She has tried over a hundred cases ranging from drug possession to first degree murder.
Jennifer’s reputation for professionalism and integrity has won her endorsements from judges across the Snohomish Superior Court and District Court systems, as well as from local municipal court judges, elected prosecutor Mark Roe, local attorneys, and members of law enforcement.
Jennifer has dedicated her career to representing some of the most vulnerable in our community, including those suffering from substance use disorders, mental illness and poverty. She will bring compassion to the bench to make sure all litigants are treated with kindness and respect.
Jennifer is no stranger to hard work. To get herself through college she worked countless hours at a fish processing plant in Alaska. She remains dedicated while managing a large legal caseload, raising a family, and volunteering in her community. She will bring a strong work ethic to the judicial bench.
Jennifer resides with her husband and two young children in Stanwood and is actively involved in the community. In addition to assisting with her children’s school and sports, Jennifer is a long-time member of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, an Associate Board member of Camp Fire of Snohomish County and member of the Everett Rotary. She also serves Washington State as the Chair of Governor Inslee’s Clemency and Pardons Board.
